Polish tankette dating from the interwar period. Along with the 7TP tank, it was the primary fighting vehicle of the Polish armored forces during the 1939 September campaign.
The TKS was an improved version of the TK-3 tankette, and was constructed at the PZInż Study Bureau by a team under the direction of Eng. Edward Habich. The main change was the modernization of the shape of the front part of the hull, the replacement of the engine and the addition of a periscope for the commander, the change of armor, electrical installation, improvement of the chassis.
